Baylor’s Fire Safety supports the mission by providing oversight and direction for all aspects of fire protection, prevention, and inspection across the Baylor campus and on Baylor owned facilities off the main campus. This includes conducting fire inspections and fire drills as required by code and/or federal/state requirement, the responsibility to provide oversight, guidance, direction, and evaluation of the service provider contractor(s) as related to the terms and conditions of all contracts dealing with fire protection, prevention, and other services, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. This includes all fire related systems such as (but not limited to) alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, pumps, and other associated devices.
