Dennis Ferguson
Electrical Engineering Systems Manager
Dennis Ferguson joins the Baylor University family on October 24th, 2022. He has over 44 years of experience and knowledge in the profession of educational facilities management; with 34 of those years spent supporting higher educational institutions. He served 10 years in K-12 educational facilities management field, where he most recently served 8 years as the Director of Maintenance & Operations for the Robinson Independent School District. Prior to that he served Baylor University’s Physical Plant in many different facilities roles. These roles included the construction of Baylor’s electrical substation, Manager of the Baylor Energy Complex, as well as the Director of Baylor M.E.P. utilities and systems.
Dennis has BSAS in Business Administration from Tarleton State University, and an Associate’s in Electrical Power from the Texas State Technical College. He has held a State of Texas Electrical License for over 40 years. He is a Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) with the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA) and a state level a member of the Texas APPA group.
