Jesse Mangus

Jesse Mangus joined Baylor University's Facilities Management team as a Mechanical Systems Manager in February of 2026.  He brings nearly two decades of experience in engineering, maintenance leadership, and facilities operations across manufacturing, industrial, and commercial environments.  His expertise includes asset reliability and preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.

Before coming to Baylor, Jesse spent 10 years with a Fortune 500 commercial real estate and facilities management company, supporting large institutional and corporate campuses across multiple industries.  He also served as an Engineering Manager during the startup and operation of a greenfield manufacturing facility, where he developed reliability-centered maintenance programs and supported continuous improvement initiatives.

Jesse began his career as a journeyman electrician and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Purdue University.  He chose to join Baylor because of its mission-driven focus on excellence, service, and purposeful work, and is committed to contributing to an environment that supports the success of Baylor's students, faculty, and staff.
